Synopsis : A story of child marriage. This true story chronicles how a promising student Kavita is forced to drop out of school to get married. After giving birth to a baby girl, she returns home to her parents severely malnourished and ends up raising her daughter alone in poverty. Meanwhile Manita, who narrates the film, goes onto university, never forgetting the childhood friend she left behind.
